AUTHENTIC MATERIAL IN VIDEO CLIPS

Students enjoy watching video clips in a variety of accents and in the speed with which native speakers communicate. There is now a website, Yappr, which can offer them a collection of video clips with the transcription appearing in a window alongside. The videos are separated by level; easy - medium - hard and are also categorised by theme, such as sport, cartoons, nature etc. You can watch all the movie clips without registering, but you can also register and have access to many other applications.
